What is Double 3?

Double 3 provides a solution for the increasing trend of hybrid work and learning models. It functions as a self-driving, two-wheeled videoconferencing robot, giving remote workers and students a tangible presence in physical spaces like offices and classrooms when they cannot be there in person. This aims to foster a greater sense of connection and participation among colleagues and peers.

Equipped with an array of 3D sensors, the robot navigates autonomously, understanding its environment to avoid obstacles safely. Users can direct the robot using a simple click-to-drive interface, selecting a point on the floor map for the robot to proceed to while automatically diverting around obstructions. Its integrated mixed reality feature overlays virtual objects onto the video feed, helping users understand the robot's perception and identify key locations like charging docks. Communication is facilitated through two 13 Megapixel cameras offering an ultra-wide view, multiple zoom levels, and physical tilt capabilities.
