What is Uthana?
Uthana utilizes artificial intelligence to streamline the 3D character animation process. Users can generate realistic motion for their characters instantly by either typing a descriptive text prompt or uploading a reference video. A key capability is its proprietary inverse kinematic (IK) retargeting system, which supports any rig regardless of size or skeleton hierarchy, enabling animation application to diverse bipedal characters.
Beyond generation, Uthana provides tools to refine animations. Users can adjust playback speed, clip motions, and soon will be able to blend multiple motions and tweak bone positions using simple sliders, eliminating the need for complex keyframe editing. The generated animations can be exported for use in popular 3D software like Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine, and Unity.

We train our models on data created by motion capture studios that support AAA games and Hollywood movies. All motions are shot for the express purpose of AI training, with the full consent and permission of the actors performing these motions. -
Do I have commercial rights for the animations I generate?
Yes. As long as you are signed up for the Pro plan or are a studio partner, you can use all of the animations you generate for commercial purposes. -
What happens to my data?
Your data is secure. We do not use customer animations to train our general models. If you are a studio partner, we can create custom AI models using your data.
